Guide for authors

Origin, Motivation and Contribution

Please note that papers must be original research manuscripts, never published before, and not under consideration for publication in any other conference proceeding (journal etc.). All papers are supposed to present novel research results of international interest. All papers should be in the range of 4 — 6 pages.

The references to related work must be appropriate.

The list of references should include at least 15 sources mostly indexed in Scopus

or Web Of Science. All sources from the list of references should be mentioned in the text of the article. Papers should be relevant to the listed topics of the conference. We publish papers written in good English only.

Ethics

Please read the detailed Elsevier Publication Ethics (based on Elsevier recommendations and COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors). If a paper contains figures or tables taken from other sources, the author must get the respective permission for reproduction them from the corresponding publishers.

Authorship

Number of authors in a single paper is 6 person maximum. One person can be the author of not more than 2 articles. The corresponding author is the person chosen within the author group to be responsible for all contacts and correspondence with the periodical. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors (and no one inappropriate co-author) are included in the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed with its submission for publication.

Registration

For registration press the button "Registration" at the top of the page and enter your personal information. The conference language and the paper language is English. Please prepare manuscript’s DOC (or DOCX) file. Be sure that your paper in MS Word is in strict accordance with the guide for authors. Be sure that all text elements, formulas, tables, signs and inscriptions in figures are in English. The Greek alphabet is valid in formulas.

Conference fee

The admission fee for participation in the conference is

200 Euro

Conference history

The SES-2019 International Scientific and Technical Conference (Smart Energy Systems 2019) continues the tradition of symposia on energy, environment and economics, which are regularly held in Kazan from the last century by the Kazan School of Power Engineering and Thermal Physics. The purpose of scientific events is a comprehensive analysis and discussion of the fundamental problems of heat and electricity, energy conservation, problems of reliability of large energy systems, as well as the development of new energy systems and technologies.

The initiators, organizers and chairmen of the first forums of the domestic and foreign scientific and technical public were prominent energy scientists Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.Ye. Alemasov and corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Yu.G. Nazmeev.

On the basis of the Kazan branch of the Moscow Energy Institute (Russia, Kazan) in September 1992, the first symposium was held, the second - in September 1998. Over 200 scientists and specialists in the field of energy and related branches of production and science took part in its work.

In 2001, the symposium acquired the status of the Russian National Symposium on Energy and is held on the basis of Kazan State Energy University (Russia, Kazan). Within the framework of the symposium, almost 300 reports were presented in 9 sections, conferences on heat power engineering, electric power industry, and thematic seminars in five scientific fields were held.

The tradition of symposiums in Kazan in 2006 was continued on the basis of the Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences - the National Conference on Heat Power Engineering was held.

In September 2014, the National Energy Congress was held on the basis of the Kazan State Energy University, which was devoted to current fundamental and applied issues of heat and power, heat and mass transfer in power plants and equipment, economics and information technologies in the energy sector. Within the framework of the congress, three conferences were held: “Power Engineering”, “Power Engineering” and “Information Technologies and Social and Economic Problems of Energy Development” in 13 scientific fields, round tables, and the IX School-Seminar of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Academy of Sciences V.E. . Alemasova "Problems of heat transfer and hydrodynamics in electrical engineering". About 300 specialists and scientists from 35 cities of Russia, as well as Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan took part in the congress.
